2. Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect or listen to your audio files or filenames.
• We do not require user registration, account creation, or email addresses to run the software.
• We do not track your geographic location or physical address.
• We do not sell, rent, or monetize any user information to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

3. Diagnostics and Error Reporting

To ensure software stability across different macOS versions and Mac models (Apple Silicon M1/M2/M3/M4 and Intel), StemSplitter Studio may submit anonymous crash diagnostics if an unexpected system exception occurs.

Diagnostic reports contain solely technical metadata (operating system version, Mac architecture, available RAM, and software error stack traces). They contain zero audio content or personal identifiers. Users may also submit feedback and logs voluntarily through the in-app support dialog.

4. Website Analytics

Our public website (stemsplitterstudio.com) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-respecting service that measures aggregate traffic without using tracking cookies, local storage, or fingerprinting. It does not profile individual visitors across the web.

5. Commercial Transactions & Purchases

For web purchases, order processing and billing are conducted by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle handles payment processing, currency conversion, and applicable sales tax/VAT in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance. We never receive or store your credit card or payment credentials.

For Mac App Store downloads, all billing and transactions are processed directly by Apple Inc. under Apple's standard privacy policy and Media Services Terms and Conditions.

6. Children's Privacy

StemSplitter Studio does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
